Privacy Policy

This page describes how Astro Sanket handles information in the product as it is built today. It is not a claim of certification under any specific privacy statute.

1. Who we are

2. What we store

We store only what the product needs to run:

Anonymous user ID — a random ID in a first-party cookie, used to associate this browser with attempts and purchases.
First name — to greet you and personalize the share card. It is not used to log you in.
Date of birth — to calculate zodiac and generate the deterministic reading.
Free-attempt counts — how many free readings this ID has used on the current IST date.
Purchases and entitlements — product, amount in INR, Razorpay (or test) payment/order references, status, and access dates.
Technical logs — our host may record IP address, browser type, and similar request data as part of running a website.

We do not ask for phone number, email (except if you email us), address, gender, or location as a profile field. We do not store the generated horoscope text in the database; it can be regenerated from date of birth and the IST date.

3. Why we use it

Generate and personalize your reading.
Enforce the daily free-reading limit in this browser.
Verify payment and keep paid access while it is valid.
Respond if you contact us.
Count simple product events (for example, that a page was viewed or checkout started). Those event names are not sent with your name or date of birth.

4. Cookies and similar storage

A first-party cookie holds the anonymous ID (used by the server).
The browser may keep a copy of today’s remaining free-attempt count for display, and a temporary copy of the current reading so Back does not lose it.

Clearing cookies or site data can reset the anonymous ID. Purchases tied to the old ID will not appear on the new one.

5. Who processes data for us

Razorpay — payment processing. They receive what is required to complete checkout. We keep payment identifiers to verify the transaction. We do not store full card numbers.
Database/hosting — profile, attempts, purchases, and entitlements are stored with our database provider (currently Supabase) and the site is hosted on our hosting provider (currently Vercel).

We do not sell this information.

6. Retention

We keep anonymous profiles, attempt rows, purchases, and entitlements while they are needed to operate Astro Sanket (including showing valid access and reviewing payment issues). We do not publish a fixed deletion schedule in this version.

7. Access, correction, deletion

There is no user login. To ask a question about data tied to this product, email kreativebyte.team@gmail.com and include enough detail for us to look up a payment (for example a Razorpay reference). We cannot reliably identify you from name alone. We will not look up another person’s profile from an anonymous ID you do not control.

8. Security

Paid access is checked on the server from verified payment records. Browser storage is not treated as proof of payment. Service credentials are not shipped to the browser. No method is perfect; use the site on a device you trust.

9. Contact form

The official contact channel is email to kreativebyte.team@gmail.com. Any on-page form is a convenience and is not a guaranteed delivery inbox in this version — please email us directly.

10. Children

The date-of-birth field rejects ages outside a reasonable range used by the product. Astro Sanket is not directed at young children.
